About me
Picture of me

After leaving university with a 1st class degree, I got a job at Norfolk Record Office, where I worked for 6 years. I began working with original documents in the strongrooms and then moved to the searchroom where I helped members of the public with their research and carried out research in reply to postal and email enquiries.

In 2007, I set up my own independent research business. Since then, I have carried out over 1500 successful research projects for clients across the globe. Please refer to my testimonials page to see what my clients have to say about my services.

I have worked on a number of research projects for the BBC series Who Do You Think You Are? most recently on the Danny Dyer episode and I did much of the original research for, and appeared in, the Mary Berry episode. I have written articles for the Eastern Daily Press and the Norwich Heritage Economic & Regeneration Trust . I have a continuing working relationship with Norfolk Record Office and I have featured on BBC Radio Norfolk as an expert local genealogist on a number of occasions.
